F-18 A/B Hornet Flight Manual

This is the original flight manual from the NATOPS Military Archive Library Series. This 733 page manual is provided in a printable PDF format on CD-ROM.

The McDonnell Douglas F/A-18A first flew November 18, 1978, marked "Navy" on the left side and "Marines" on the right side.

The F/A-18A/C is the single-seat and the F/A-18B/D is the two-seat aircraft. Combat-proven, the supersonic F/A-18 Hornet is a twin-engine, multi-mission, all-weather, day and night fighter and attack aircraft. Its strike-fighter capability includes air-to-air and air-to-ground support. F/A-18 Hornets are currently operating in 37squadrons world-wide and on 10 aircraft carriers. F-18 Hornets serve also the armed services of Australia, Canada, Finland, Kuwait, Malaysia, Spain and Switzerland.
